Like another track I submitted recently, this song starts in 7/4, breaks down in 5/4, and then drops into 7/4 to finish. I worried less about making that all fit together and just tried to compose parts that complimented each other. I started with the 7/4 part and then used some of the same notes and phrases to create the 5/4 part. I took my time at the beginning to pick a vocal sample I really liked and that made it easier to chop it up and then build around it.
